G324: Advanced Portfolio in Media
This is a coursework unit.
I will engage with contemporary Media technologies to produce a media portfolio through a combination of two or more media and then present your research, planning and evaluation in electronic form (a blog).
This is designed to develop skills from your Foundation Portfolio.
There are 13 separate briefs offered.
Each of them feature a main text and two ancillary texts.
I can work individually or in a group. I am working in a group with Lisa Rogers.
Twenty marks are for the planning and research, and it's presentation.
Sixty marks are for the construction

The work will also provide the material for me to engage with section A of the exam, and as such my skills development and theoretical underpinning of my media texts will need to be recorded as my productions progress.
This unit is worth 50% of your A2 grades and as such 25% of your overall A Level.
