Planning Stage 2 - Script

The comments beside the lyrics of the song show how long each line lasts for and where it is located in the actual music video of our chosen song. This is placed beside the second part of the script is showing what actions will occur in our music video that we are producing.

(Before piano begins Lisa sends a text to her love - Jacob, she finishes her drinks and checks her reply from him.)

Piano plays for 27 seconds before lyrics begin.

(As the piano plays Lisa is tidying her room. She throws her tissues and chocolate box in the bin, picks up her trousers and places them on her bed. She walks to her mirror and puts her coat on.)

(Lisa begins singing the lyrics.)

When the rain is blowing in your face,

(After putting her coat on, Lisa reassembles her hair and rubs her smudged make up to appear recovered.)
And the whole world is on your case,

(Lisa now picks up her teddy which is a symbol and memory of Jacob, she places the teddy on her bed in unhappiness.)
I could offer you a warm embrace

(From one end of her bed, Lisa walks to the other end where she sees a picture on her laptop of herself and Jacob from the past. She stares at the picture for a few seconds then closes the laptop lid.)
To make you feel my love.

(After shutting the laptop, she walks towards the door and opens it whilst having her hand on the light switch. Lisa looks around her room for final checks then switches the light off.)

(When the light switches off Lisa has flashbacks of the day her and Jacob met.)
When the evening shadows and the stars appear,

(Lisa is shown struggling with her umbrella which had turned inside out.)
And there is no one there to dry your tears,

(Jacob offers a helping hand.)

(They’ve both shown to be looking at each other after Lisa thanks Jacob whilst blushing.)

(Their romance is shown and Lisa’s flashback ends.)

(Lisa is shown to the walking to meet Jacob, down a street whilst it’s empty and shadowy.)

(She is now shown turning down a corner.)

(Lisa is then continued from walking round the corner down to a treacherous and unsafe street which is close to where she meets Jacob.)

(Jacob and Lisa are finally shown to be at the destination where they face met, standing far apart from each other.)

(They’re both shown to be walking up to each other which then rapidly transforms to Lisa’s second flashback.)

(They’re both shown to be sat on the sofa watching TV.)
The storms are raging on the rolling sea

(Whilst watching TV Jacob makes a comment which Lisa feels wound up and answers back.)
And on the highway of regret.

(Jacob replies as to make out Lisa is being inappropriate which Lisa stands up and retaliates to.)
Though winds of change are throwing wild and free,

(After Lisa, Jacob also stands up to explain Lisa’s being slightly dramatic as Lisa continues shouting. Jacob turns around and grabs his jacket and leaves the room implying he’s walking out of the house.)
You ain't seen nothing like me yet.

(Lisa takes a few steps behind Jacob as she doesn’t want him to walk away but with frustration she sits down and grieves over the situation.)

(The scene comes back to reality as Jacob and Lisa are taking their final few steps towards each other. Lisa inhales implying she’s getting ready to explain and begins to sing the last stanza to Jacob in an emotional and expressive way.)

(Jacob continues listening to Lisa and Lisa looks up at Jacob and expressively sings the last line.)

(Finally Lisa finishes singing and they both look at each other and the scene ends promptly.)
